    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://www.cadforum.cz/forum_en/member_profile.asp?PF=165260">John Connor</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 9877<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 10.Dec.2013 at 11:39<br /><br />Thanks for the drawing.<br><br><b>I was able to subtract the rectangle from the lofted surface just like I suggested</b>.&nbsp; Here's the problem though.&nbsp; Since you created the bishop as a surface when you do the subtraction you see that it is hollow.&nbsp; Now, go get your chess set and a hack saw.&nbsp; Take out one of the bishops and saw a notch in the top of it.&nbsp; Is it hollow inside?&nbsp; Most likely not.&nbsp; But if it is it still has a thickness to it which your bishop does not.&nbsp; In my opinion your bishop should be a 3D solid and not a surface.<br><br>One other thing.&nbsp; Apparently you must have had some trouble with this drawing because it has the word "recover" in the drawing name.&nbsp; Purge and audit the drawing.&nbsp; You might even want to first run the Overkill command on it too to clean it up.&nbsp; Then do a "saveas" under a new (normal) name.<br><span style="font-size:10px"><br /><br />Edited by John Connor - 10.Dec.2013 at 15:21</span>]]>
