    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://www.cadforum.cz/forum_en/member_profile.asp?PF=437493">amk07001</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 9965<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 16.Jan.2014 at 23:18<br /><br />Hello All,<br><br>This is my first post here at CADforum, so I would like to introduce myself briefly.&nbsp; I am a civil engineer (E.I.T.) in his second year of professional work.&nbsp; I mainly do site/drainage design and use AutoCAD Civil 3D 2013.&nbsp; <br><br>Unfortunately my office is a bit behind the times as far as utilizing the features available in Civil 3D and I have been working on implementing a set of pipe network standards to be used across the company.&nbsp; I have a template working well, but I have noticed one issue that is the reason for this post.&nbsp; I am noticing that if the cover/slope/etc. rules are violated CAD takes the liberty of adjusting structure inverts.&nbsp; I have read that there is a way to make a rule a "Violation Only" rule, which will only flag the pipe/structure violating one of the preset rules and not actually modify the pipe/structure invert elevations.&nbsp; Unfortunately I can't seem to find where in CAD I can set a rule to be "Violation Only" and was wondering if a fellow forum member could provide me with directions to make my pipe rules all "Violation Only".&nbsp; <br><br>Thank you all in advance for taking the time to read and respond to my beginner question.<br>]]>
