I have used AutoCAD 2011 for many years but today when I open up a drawing I can only open as read only. Ho do to open up the drawing to amend. Can anyone help

Is it possible someone else has the drawing already opened?

Is it just one particular drawing or does this happen no matter what drawing you attempt to open?
