FYI - Viewports do not have to be located on the Defpoints layer in order not to be printed.  Merely create a layer called VPorts and set it to "no print" (i.e. - red diagonal through printer symbol).

Hai,

We have some projects in which we have to print shop drawings prepared in tekla and MEP in autocad.

While exporting shop drawings from tekla to autocad, there are some issues, couple are mentioned below.

1. There are 3 Layouts in each shop drawings (Layout1, Layout2 and TSLayout) in which TSLayout only contains the shop drawings and xref files. I need to delete Layout1 & Layout2 and keep the TSLayout only.

2. Vieports are not in Defpoints, therefore while printing from AutoCAD viewports are also printed. Need to convert/change them to defpoints before printing.

There are more than 1000 shop drawings and I am looking for solutions related to these issues.Sample drawing is attached. Can anyone help ?Confused
