I am working on cutting some VCT tile. I am waterjet cutting a sentence out of them. The field tile will be one color and the letters will be another. I am offsetting the letters so that they fit snug and tight into the field tile. I am having a problem however. The letters are straight but in the field tile the cutout of the letters is slanted causing the bottom of the letter to fit flush but the top to be off. I copied the letter exactly and only offset it so I know in the program it is the same shape. Not sure what is happening, would appreciate any input. Sorry if it sounds confusing, if you need me to clarify please ask.
