I'm looking for a way through a lisp routine to search various folders drawings (.dwg files) for a specific block name. The result in an excel list of the found dwg files where the specific block is located. |

Try the following LISP routine - DbxScanBlocks. APPLOAD and run it in an empty drawing. It is not finished yet, later it should handle also attribute values.

Unfortunately it doesn't work for blocks in paper space model of a drawing.

Are you sure? It seems to work here - adding/listing all blocks, from Model and paperspaces (layouts). Can you upload a sample DWG?
