Subscript inside a stacked fraction doesn't seem to be a possibility. You can do this:
but only because the superscript 2 is available as an ALT+ code [253 or 0178], and ALT+ characters can be included in what fraction-stacking will work with. It's not really a superscript 2, but just an "image" of one. There are a few other characters available as superscript-look like that, but not just anything. I don't see any subscript types in the list of ALT+ codes. The Symbol pull-down in the Mtext editor ribbon can get you to "Other" symbols in a character map, which seems to have a few subscript characters (varies with the font), but I didn't find numbers.

Do you mean the stacked text? Or the graph of it?
The stacked text can be entered as: x1/y1 in MText and confirming the stack prompt. Or selecting the text and picking Stack/Fraction in the context menu. If the "1" should be displayed as lower index, it may become more complicated and you will need to use formatting codes manually (or an OLE object). |
