The length of line OZ on the image, on 1st post is 1. Does it looks like a cube to you? It's not a cube, it look like a rectangle box to me. So? What is the correct length of line OZ using technical drawing method so that it become a cube?

Yes it doesn't look a cube so why asking about :

Because the image on the 1st post is using Dimetric projection rule.
As you can see, the line OX and line OY form a square. Now, all I wanted to know is the length of line OZ so that it become/look like a cube.

I am asking about how to do 2D drawing of a cube using Dimetric projection.

The internet is your friend all over the world.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=25_QXknJ9TI Personnaly I'm not interested in 2D drawing of 3D object anymore, 3D modeling would be an option for this and I don't think that someone already draws isometric piping schemes for example nowadays. When doing 3D you can eventually "give" your studies in 2D using the command FLATSHOT. When doing this I make a block of my 3D objects, arrange various copy of that block in at least the 3 characteristic 2D positions + some isometric view(s) at a very precise distance each other so that the FLATSHOT that I will do can be easily placed in the paper size of the project. Then a modification of the 3D object can be easily updated on the 2D. You can eventually take a look at my AutoCAD file named :
ORTHO-TO-ISO_01_B.dwgin the CAD/BIM blocks library.Edited by philippe JOSEPH - 27.Jan.2025 at 07:47 |

There is also a very old LISP utility - DIMETRY. You can try it.
