hi.
i want to use the "publish" command (which is obviously the same like "batch plot") to produce one pdf with several layouts (one pdf with several pages).

i have the layouts set up properly.
i can plot single layouts and i can plot all the layouts at once using the "publish" or "batch plot" command (into many single pdfs).
the only thing that doesnt work is to plot them in ONE pdf.

if i change the settings in the "publish options" nothing changes. if i change the variable in "publishcollate" nothing changes.

in the beginning it did plot into one file. i changed that (in the publish options) because i needed single pdfs. now i cannot change it back anymore.

does anybody have an idea of what i can try??

The key to this is usually in the Publish dialog box.

Did you select to Publish to:

  (1) Plotter named in plot setup;  or,
  (2) PDF?

The first will give you single files regardless.  The second will give you a multi-sheet PDF if you have also specified a multi-sheet filetype in the Publish options.
