Is there a font or textstyle that has equal spacing of all letters and special characters (ie ., |, !, l,1 etc.) that also allows bolding, italics, over & under lines, over & under lettering, etcetera?

Hello, if you mean text style for CAD forum, answer is yes. Just click to right corner of topic item for Reply.
 
Also you can use keyboard shortucts Ctrl+B, Ctrl+I, Ctrl-U in Quick Reply.

In AutoCAD you can use any monospaced TrueType font - e.g. Courier New, Lucida Console, Consolas, etc.
