As a software company this headline writes the jokes itself, but it is no laughing matter, and not what you thought. Autodesk has for the past few years been researching bio and nano technologies with some of the brightest researchers in the field today. Andrew Hessel is one of those bright minds in the field of bio technology and has developed a new virus a synthetic Phi-X174 bacteriophage. Don't worry the 3D printed virus is benign, but it is alive....
