I'm having a problem with tool palettes I'm hoping someone can help me with.  Running AutoCAD 2012 MEP and attempting to insert electrical items from the tool palette, but everything is inserting at a scale far smaller than my drawing.  Also each item I insert is overlaid with a large 'caution' triangle which hides the item itself.  Until now I've simply pasted from my own library of cad files, this is first attempt inserting from tools which I thought would be time saving.  Any suggestions?

What kind of drawing is this exactly?  It can't be an electrical schematic if you are having scaling issues.

Hello Parker14, try verify your units settings.
DDUNITS : inches, feet, millimeters, meters, etc...
If you set correctly your units and if the files that you want to insert in your are with correct settings, you shouldn't have any problems with different units as AutoCAD will insert them with the good scale.

When you view any item in 2D within the tool palette of AutoCAD MEP, by default it looks very small. When you view the same item in 3D, you can view it properly.
