spreadsheet not working properly on autocad

everytime I paste a spreadsheet (OpenOffice .ods) to autocad, it does not show the contents or text on the spreadsheet. what could be the problem?

What is the color of your background in ACAD?  What is the color of the text in the cells of the spreadsheet?

If the two are the same or very close you may need to change the either the background or the text in order to see the text.  If you have a white background in ACAD and your Open Office shows the text as default it may bring it in to ACAD as white, so you would need to change the text to a black color from the color pallet specificly.
