Is there a command to export Mtext into a Word Document?

No there isn't. Try export as a TXT file then importing that into Word. There may be one or two custom lisp routines around that might do the trick but you'll have to search for them.

Thank, I thought I was able to export to word many years ago, when Mtext first came out. When I export as a txt file I loose paragraph formatting. Do you have any suggestions?

AutoCAD 2009?
I don't have any suggestions at the moment. I'd have to do some research and get back to you.

I was able to do it but I make no promises that you will be able to.
While in the MTEXT editor right-click and pick the option "Select All". Right click again and select "Copy".
A window should appear onscreen with the heading "Multiline Text - Copy and Paste". The message that appears is as follows:
If you paste this text into another application it might be difficult to see. The selected text is similar to the background color used by other applications.
Click on the Close button.
Open your Word document, right-click then select "Paste". An icon should appear that looks like a Clipboard. If you hover your mouse over it the words "Paste Options" should briefly appear. Click on the icon then on the down pointing arrow. You are given the following choices:
-Keep Source Formatting
-Match Destination Formatting
-Keep Text Only
Choose the last option. Your MText should now appear inside your Word document. What you can or cannot do with it from there I have no clue nor do I care. I believe I have provided you with the answer to your original question.
Do NOT try to copy/paste MText that is not inside the MText editor as you will hate the result when you get it into Word.
