Hello everyone,

       Am gopirajah, Looking for your timely help. I need to convert the below 2D (figure. 1) to 3D (figure 2) using auto cad. can anyone suggest me how to do the same. Is there a way to create directly 3d structure as shown in figure 2 ?

There is no direct, one button, method of converting your 2D sketch to 3D in AutoCAD.

       I understood its not one step process. But, can you please show me the path to do the same? or particular option to look in to. It will be of great help to me

Possibly loft a series of profiles as the shape is not consistent throughout.

I just realized this entire thread is posted in the wrong forum.

Thanks for ur timely help Mr. john. I just began my work using Auto cad.

Your suggestion worked well.
