I take the ferry each morning to work. The final part of my commute is a short walk across the street from the San Francisco Ferry Building to our offices at One Market. As I walked the one morning, I saw this on the ground.

Apparently tourists who visit New York and San Francisco take really bad photos, so someone is trying to do something about it by marking appropriate spots and suggested camera angles. Is this a public service or graffiti? You decide. But can you imagine the uproar if we marked the spots 360 degrees around an object so it could be captured with a camera and converted into a 3D model using our free http://123dapp.com/catch - 123D Catch or http://www.autodesk.com/recap" target="_self - ReCap Photo .
