I want to put following operations into a macro:
Ctrl+A (i.e. ai_selall), Shift, specify a rectangular area (limits of 0,0 and 841,594), Del. They delete everything outside the rectangular area.

How to assign Shift keystroke in a macro and how to specify the limits in a macro?

I must use ai_selall instead of Select command because ai_selall can pick up unseen objects.

Bruce
