Hello,

I am trying to create linetypes for fire rated walls.  I have created a custom shape and then created a line type using it.  However, I would like the linework between the shape to be able to be adjusted with global width similar to how the AutoCAD standard centerline works.  If I simply add line work as part of the shape it does not adjust with global width.  I have attached a file showing what I have made so far and also showing how I would like the new linetype to appear.  Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

Use Polylines instead of Lines/Arcs/etc.  You can give them width, which will be applied to the line portions but not to the shapes.

Thanks.  From the tutorial video I watched I didn't realize you could use polylines.  I thought you had to make everything into a shape.  This works.

Thanks again
