Hi.

While using the Multi-line text editor in our new AutoCAD 2009 package, i wanted to discard some changes so i hit escape and instead of just cancelling, i got a dialogue box asking me if i wanted to discard changes. There was also a tick box which was something like "dont show this message again" or "make my default setting", which i ticked because i wanted to hit escape to cancel all the time period, however, it seems i must have done it wrong as if i edit some text then decide i want to cancel, hitting escape saves the changes rather than discarding them - and i obviously dont get the dialogue box anymore so i cant change it ! Does anyone know how i can change this setting ? Cheers.

Hi. Many thanks for your reply, but it wasnt the answer ! There was no dialogue box when i came out of the Multiline Text Editor ! However, whilst on an Inventor course, i asked the instructor there, and after a chat with one of his colleagues he told me it was under Tools/Options/System - there is a Hidden Messages setting on the right hand side under General Options where you can reset any messages you've made hidden !
