Hi all, I am using AutoCAD 2012 and every now and then when I do a drawing and click an iso view I see that random parts of the drawing and text, regardless of what layer they are on, are separated vertically at different heights above 0,0. I need it to be flat and all on one plane but I don't know why this is happening to begin with. When I try manually bringing everything down, I only make a bigger mess of things. I start off with a fresh drawing, Xref in a topo drawing from a consultant, lock it and then I make my layers and draw over it. I am pretty sure that the topo dwg is the culprit as it is in 3D. However I already did a considerable amount of work over it  and detaching the xref doesn't make what I drew all appear at 0,0. So I am hoping there is a way I don't have to literally redraw an entire section of a project I already did because I started off bad to begin with:Is there anyway to make my existing work all appear on one plane in iso view?? And what do I do with future xrefs that come to me in 3d so this doesn't happen again?Thank you!

I'd freeze my xref layer and using the old CHANGE > Properties command, Elevation option move everything that needs to be moved back to a Z of "0". ------------- "Humans have a strength that cannot be measured. | Super! It brought **almost** everything to 0. Two blocks remain absolutely stubborn and some "dots" that are connected to my dim strings wont budge. But these are the least and i will simply delete them. THANK YOU!!! |
