Just installed a new computer with 2016 AutoCAD on it. 

As I am poking around seeing what has changed I noticed a new thing within Mtext that I need to learn how to disable. 

Dynamic Columns. I currently have set to none but any time I enter a ( within a string of text it overrides the setting and starts a column or # bullet point list which I do not want. at my firm we use the abbreviation (E) and (N) a lot in text.

How can I disable this dynamic column ?
