Hello All, I would like to ask you about stress analysis for tube.
Im new in INVENTOR and I think that its probably simple, but can you explain me "how to" perform stress analysis for tube when I want to know maximum force/pressure before deformation of the tube?

Reality is, that I have tubes on the stock stored one on one. Diameter of the tube is 1000mm and thickness 12,5mm.
And I want to know how many lewels of the tubes (one on one) im able to store without deformation of the tube at the bottom.

I tried to do it, but tube was always bended, not deformed.

I welcome all ideas.

Thank you (Excuse my english)

I actually don't think it's that simple..I would expect the deformation to weaken the structure.. how to explain this??....if you apply a line load to a circular tube, it becomes oval..and due to this, the shape looses stability, and will thus deform even more. You will need to do a non-linear static stress analysis, which is not possible with http://www.libak.dk/en/simulation/fem" rel="nofollow - Inventor Stress analysis module
