Hey there,

I want to create 3D model of dental bracket as following:

Does anybody know how to model this dental braket? Of course I can draw this part by rule of tumb but I wonder if there are any standards and/or dimension to model these dental braces. If you help, I will be grateful. Thank you in advance.

Alper

Looks easy enough.  What program are you using though as you have listed three different ones.  BTW...there is no need for multiple threads that contain the exact same question.  Just makes the conversation more difficult to follow.

I can use any program, I just want to find the standard and/or dimension to design the dental braces.

Where have you looked?

I cannot say any specific page now, I looked many pages on the internet but most of the informations I found were about manufacturing technologies.

And what was your search criteria specifically?

Actually these braces are different geometric design for each tooth. And I want to find if there is geometric relations among these braces. Is there any parametric design for dental braces?

I don't know.  That question would be better put to someone who specializes in orthodontics or the design of orthodontic apparatus such as the dental bracket you have pictured.

Did you see that someone over at CADTutor posted a reference guide with dimensions for dental brackets?  Looks pretty good.  Check it out.
