I remember having this problem about 10 years ago, and don't remember how I fixed it then. Up until recently I had no printing issues. Now, when I try to print to either printer, it ir rotated 90 degrees and too small. It is printing Portrait on a Landscape title block. I haven't changed anything to my knowledge. When I run Solidworks, it still prints as intended. I have a Samsung ML-2540 laser printer for A size, and an HP Officejet 7110 for B size. I'm running Windows 7. I can't get either to print correctly any more. Any ideas? ------------- __________________ Micallen |

Now that I think of it, I only have the problem on DWG files that were converted from SW prints. But it use to never be a problem. If I start with one of my ACAD templates, it prints fine. ------------- __________________ Micallen |

I think you just weren't paying attention to what you were doing. I downloaded and opened your drawing. I started the Plot command and in the plot dialog box I changed the orientation from Portrait to Landscape. I picked my printer, checked the Preview and then printed. Came out right the very first time. I don't believe it has anything to do with the fact that it was created in SW. Why is there no separate layers for text and dimensions? Why is almost every entity in your drawing the same color (white)? Why wouldn't you use a "centerline" linetype for the centerlines of the holes in the baseplate? Why are the lines used to show the side view of the baseplate on the FORMAT layer? ------------- "Humans have a strength that cannot be measured. This is John Connor. No Portrait/Landscape selection available. As far as the other items mentioned, these are quick prints usually used to import into nesting software. Still need the prints though. SW creates all the items you mentioned - that's how it converts. I know they look like crap. My templates do not look like that. Just trying to get the print thing figured out.

You forgot to click on the black arrowhead in the lower right hand corner of the plot dialog window to expand the remainder of the window where you would have seen the setting for Orientation. ------------- "Humans have a strength that cannot be measured.
