WHY IS THE HELP MENU IN AUTOCAD SO COMPLETELY  WORTHLESS?  IT SEEMS LIKE EVERY TIME I HIT THE F1 KEY ALL THE HELP MENU DOES IS INSULT MY INTELLIGENCE, AND HIT ALL AROUND THE ISSUE IM HAVING, AND NEVER REALLY HELP AT ALL, ITS LIKE IF YOU HAVE TO CALL A SERVICE TECH ON AN ELECTRONIC PRODUCT, AND THEY SAY ARE YOU SURE ITS PLUGGED IN, THAT'S THE HELP I GET FROM THE ACAD HELP MENU, IVE BEEN USING AUTOCAD FOR 25 F'N YEARS, AND I JUST UPGRADED TO 2016 AND ALL MY TOOL BARS ARE GONE.  THE HELP MENU SAYS "TO TURN ON A TOOLBAR TYPE TOOLBAR AT THE COMMAND PROMPT AND PICK A TOOLBAR"  AND THAT IS ALL IT SAYS!!!!!  I LIKE AUTOCAD CLASSIC, I DONT LIKE THE RIBBON, I AM A STRUCTURAL STEEL DETAILER, I USE PRO-STEEL, A PROGRAM THAT RUNS INSIDE OF AUTOCAD, CAN SOMEONE TELL ME HOW TO TURN MY TOOL BARS BACK ON, IM RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF A JOB, I NEED THIS DONE FAST, PLEASE!!!! I KNOW ITS SOMETHING SIMPLE, I KNOW THE THING ABOUT RIGHT CLICKING ON AN ICON TO TURN ON TOOL BARS, BUT I DONT HAVE ANY ICONS, SOMEBODY HELP ME I JUST UPGRADED TO 2016 IM USING IT FOR THE FIRST TIME RIGHT NOW

Please get back in your seat and try to remain calm.  Thank you.

Let's take this one step at a time.  Assuming your install went fine do the following...

Command: -toolbar
Enter toolbar name or [ALL]: Standard
Enter an option [Show/Hide/Left/Right/Top/Bottom/Float] <Show>: except the default

If all goes according to plan the Standard toolbar should now appear on your screen.  Right-click on the toolbar and you'll get a list of all available toolbars.  Start picking the ones you want.  Set up your workspace and when done save this as a custom workspace under a name you'll recognize (ex. - MyWorkspace).

If the above approach does not work then there is a chance something went awry with your install in which case refer to this article.

In the future please refrain from using all caps and a light color for your font.  All caps is the equivalent of shouting and a light colored font is difficult to read unless one is on their computer outside on a moonless night in the middle of the desert wearing sunglasses.

Thanks again and have a sparkling day.
