It feels great to be in this forum, elite guys from all over the world . As a newbie with AutoCad, still in the stage of observation. Not have much to say yet but hoping to open up my first real topic in this forum, soon.

Hey, I'm looking for an AutoCAD that would be geared specifically towards building/inventing/creating a tool and/or power tool.  I'm completely new to this and have no experience with CAD yet but I plan on enrolling myself into an online course.  Just waiting to choose the best one and I would rather find out what the best software is that I should be using for what I'll be making.  If you know of anyone that could help me that you've spoken to recently or if you know something I don't then let me know.
Thanks fella.

If I were you I would look into a program like Inventor not AutoCAD.

Welcome and enjoy Autocad. There is always something you may not know in Autocad or anything else in life! When you face a question in Autocad feel free to make the topic and ask. You can alternatively google it first before asking as your question may have been answered before in here or somewhere else.

Enjoy AutoCAD

Why don't you google your needs first. For example, type in google "building a tool in 3d in Autocad" and see what others have made and if it interests you Wink
