At least they seem to be something like- unexplained

LT2017 drawing bylayer colour filled circles appear at the end of lines and wont go away- tried erasing the lines but they remain in model space and can be seen in paper space as well as unscaled larger filled circles

Regenall gets rid of them but then they appear somewhere else at the end of another line?

Erasing the line and trying to pick the circle and it doesnt exist?

Any ideas? Regenall fixes it but what are they?

Can you post an image?

Are the circles red?

Are you doing any hatching using these lines?

I don't recognize them and without a copy of the drawing to analyze I can't offer a solution at this time.

If you start a new drawing and draw a couple of lines do they show up?

Try disabling GEOMARKERVISIBILITY and see if they disappear.  The value would have to be set to "0".

Are you doing any hatching utilizing these lines?

I'll try that but havent seen these before but this is my first 2017 drawing- more used to old 2007 version so still learning all the new widgets but it does seem intuitive after what I am used to

Thanks for your time

I tried to reproduce the problem on my CAD system but was unable to do so.

Did you get the drawing from an outside source?

Some.

I transferred up my 2007 drawing sheets on paper space, pasted externally sourced architects drawings into my model space and then drew up standard ductwork items and then used lines and fillets to join up the dots

These circles  appear after doing some fillet and line commands but as you see on my screen shot these current ones are not even on the end of a line and cant be accessed with the cross hairs- strange

Still I know a regenall gets rid of them so no real problem

Next problem is a new PC as my laptop is struggling with the poor graphics card and RAM which was fine with lt2007- hey ho!

Thanks for your help John

It was on thanks- not that I know what that was- will keep an eye out while the drawing progresses for repeats

Well it should be "OFF".  Disable it and see if it makes a difference.

Can you upload a copy of the drawing so we can see these red circles for ourselves?
