Objects in model space (room names and numbers, some doors...) are not being shown in model space and not being printed. Nothing is locked, frozen, turned off or otherwise prevented from printing as far as I can see. I am working with someone else's plan which has been sent to me to use for my purposes in the project.

Are they are the Defpoints layer?

Hi John. Thank you for the reply. I think I resolved my issue. The objects that were not blocks I put on a different layer and they appeared. Under View I found Show Annotative Objects and clicked "All Scales" and the room names and room numbers(blocks with attributes) appeared as well. Printing is now working. Could you take a minute and explain what you were getting at by asking about the objects being on the defpoints layer.

Objects on the Defpoints layer will not print. The layer is automatically created by AutoCAD if dimensions are used.
