I had a trouble. I worked in AutoCad 2009.  When dragging part of the drawing there was a program failure. I found the file with expansion of .sv$ but I can't rename it into .dwg.

the drawing was, for example 111.sv$, and to become 111.dwg.sv$

What to do? Please, help!

I think you just typed it in wrong.  111.sv$ should be renamed 111.dwg.  Invoke the Rename option and put your cursor after the < $ > sign, backspace to delete the sv$ file designation then type in dwg and you should be good to go.

Better yet use the RECOVER command in AutoCAD which will automatically find and open .sv$ files.

In the options  AutoCad in the FILES tab, (the leftmost tab) there is a way to AutoSave.

There AutoCad saves temporary files, usually with extension sv$  (unless otherwise specified). It is necessary to look for there.

As a rule, if the files are there, then you can find them by date, and their volume can be seen, there is in them something, or they are empty.

For opening it is necessary to rename simply them, having added the dwg extension. Too most it is possible to make with files with the bak extension.

Using the RECOVER command is the easiest and simplest option.  No searching for files.  No renaming files.
