Hi Guys,

I need help to understand something here.

So, I've downloaded a font - more specifically "HP Simplified" family fonts in Truetype font format and installed it to my computer.

However when I opened my AutoCAD, I couldn't find the font.

Can anyone help me on this? Is it the font format or should I do something extra like copy the font files somewhere else?

Thanks.

Hello farycj, I think that you have to copy it there : C:\Program Files\Autodesk\AutoCAD 2012\Fonts.
Maybe you will have to restart your computer to make it work.

What OS are you running?  It is not always a matter of merely copying TrueType fonts to a folder.  In most caes the font has to be "installed".  For example, the installation process for Windows 7 is outlined in this article...

Right-click and Install for TTF fonts, copy to the Fonts subfolder for SHX fonts.
