Dear users,

This mightn't be the most appropriate forum to ask this on but I quickly need a 3D model of a flying bird for a school project. I've been to many sites but none of them have what I need. I would really appreciate it if any of you could make or find me such a model. It would have to be an Autodesk Inventor 2016 model.

You would really help me out if you did. Thanks in advance

Martijn

1) A "flying" bird.

2) Must be 3D.

3) Must be created in Inventor.

Any other conditions that have to be met?  Like...

-type of bird
-wing span
-diurnal or not
-size
-plumage
-color
-sex

And what, pray tell, is your deadline for this simple request?

I think your best bet would be to visit the TurboSquid website.  You might get lucky and find a free 3D model but if you don't there should be some for sale.  The killer aspect is the "must be created in Inventor" stipulation.  Think about it.  What are the chances someone using a MCAD program like Inventor would be modeling a creature of nature?  Now if you specified 3dsMax or Rhino or maybe even Blender you might have better luck.

1) a bird with it's wings completely spread out

other conditions:
-condor (or anything that looks like it)
-wing span has to be proportionnal to the body (I don't really care about the scale because I can change that later, right?)
-I don't care about colour, plumage or sex. It's just supposed to be a simple bird that be could test in a wind tunnel.

I would like to have the model next week. If that's not possible, after the christmas holidays is still doable.
If you need to know anything else please let me know
If you could help me I would be very grateful.

Martijn

Sorry, I don't use Inventor.  I suggest you visit the TurboSquid website immediately.  Like I said, you might get lucky but I kind of doubt it.  Next stop would be the Inventor discussion or community forums at the AutoDesk website.  At least you'll be speaking directly to Inventor users.  Can't say I've seen many here.

Check http://www.cadblocksfree.com/en/eagle.html" rel="nofollow - this out.  I just put "bird" in the Search window there, and that was the first thing that looks like an actual bird, and it's not in Inventor but maybe convertible.  But I didn't look further -- they may have more.
