I need to find a file that i can import into autocad 2008 that will give me the 3d version of a double clotheshook.
 
The exact clothes hook looks like this:

Not sure there is a program to do what you want, I checked McMaster Carr's website to see if they had a 3d drawing, they have a lot of their items with 2d and 3d cad drawings. This is pretty smiple, just get one and draw it in 3d in ACAD. It's a pretty smiple item.

Unfortunately im not gifted with this 3d autocad.  I have drawn everything I need to except for the addition of this hook.  I cant even draw the base.  I tried to draw the base by putting in two circles and connecting lines but when i tried to extrude it it extrudes the shape in the form of a shell but I dont get a solid.

I'm not sure what the purpose of the 3d hook is, but I could draw a version of a hook I have in my office and email it to you. Let me know. You will have to give me your email address. All these hooks are very similar.
