I don't see an option for it, per se, under Options > Display > Colors.  Why, what's wrong with the color?  One would think there were more important things to consider.

This is the only "fix" I've come across and it is not ideal but I've heard it does work.

"Try changing the color of your crosshairs in Sheet/Layout as it will also change the color of the text in the layout tab."  The downside is that your crosshairs will just look weird.

That must be affected by which version you have, and/or possibly whether full AutoCAD or LT.  It doesn't work for me here in [full, not LT] Acad2016 [white cross-hairs in Model Space, yellow in Paper Space, Layout names in tabs still white in Paper Space].

Perhaps Autodesk could do this in the next release? Excel has it and it would be quite useful I believe.

Why don't you ask then.  Make it a suggestion to be considered for the AUGI Wish List.  Of course it is too late for AutoCAD 2018 but it could be suggested for AutoCAD 2019.
