I have installed Civil 3D 2017 on my pc but I managed to do a big mistake. I have moved some files from program files folder but couldnt remember which ones. I couldnt launch Civil neither could I launch Autocad 2015 which I have installed before. So I decided to uninstall and reinstall both programs. The problem is the installer told I have already installed Civil on my pc even if I have removed all the files according to the uninstalation manual on official websites. I had no file from autodesk in ny PC and when I launch installer it also says that I have it installed on my PC. Can somebody help me please? Formating the hard disk is the last solution I would like to avoid. Thanks

You must have missed something during the uninstall process.  My guess is it would be one or more entries in the Windows Registry.

I have gone through the uninstall process again, did everything it said, used ccleaner to clean up and it is still not working... Even checked myself registers... Nothing left there from Autodesk or CAD. It seem like formatting the disk is the only thing will help, but I still would like to avoid it.

It's a Registry problem or at least that is what Autodesk itself says.

Read this too.  It's from an independent source.
