Hi,

I have made a P&id drawing in modelspace, made of several pages (several pages in 1 dwg). I decided to draw it this way for easy navigation between pages

What is the best way to make 1 pdf of these pages, considering that this drawing is growing to over 50 pages so the pdf needs to be easily updated regularly.

Other tips to handle such a project are welcome, But it has to be done with draftsight. (maybe I can derive it from the AC Light method)

Thank you.

Stefan

There is no easy way to print 50 pages automatically from model space without a lot of work.  Separate layouts (or whatever Draftsight calls them) should have been used which would have allowed you to publish each layout as a PDF.

You can do it in less than 10 min if you know how :)

You can save multiple layouts as one pdf or as separate pdf for every each drawing.
STEP ONE
If you have all borders in the model space, I will recommend creating a blank layout with the full-size viewport.
STEP TWO
Duplicate the first layout sheet and estimate a new position of viewports (for every each drawing)
STEP THREE
Create the AutoCAD project and select sheets
STEP FOUR
Export PDF

aa: The 50 drawings are all in model space.  The OP did not say he had 50 layouts.  There is a vast difference between the two scenarios.
