Hello,

I have a HP Designjet T770 44 inch printer.
I have a A0 template for my drawings.

When i print i use scale to fit paper and i use A0 paper 841mm format like in the link below:
https://plotterpapperonline.se/vitt-bond-841-mm-plotterpapper-a0-33-1-tum-50m-80g-m2.html" rel="nofollow - https://plotterpapperonline.se/vitt-bond-841-mm-plotterpapper-a0-33-1-tum-50m-80g-m2.html

I think it is just standard A0 papper but when i print the drawing is not scaled well. it looks like the drawing is made smaller becaude of the paper. Do i need bigger paper?
My printer can print maximum on 1118mm width.

Sorry i am just a new autocad user.

Hello swedencad, it looks like your paper width is 841 mm ( approx. 33 inches ) so if you launch a A0 ( 841 mm width ) to be printed it will be printed smaller because the printer doesn't print without margins.
Eventually you could see if you can buy ( and install on your printer ) paper width 914 mm ( approx. 36 inches ).
Then when you print a A0 ( length 1189 x width 841 ) it is at scale 1/1 and you eventually have to cut some millimetres around the format.

If you wanted to print your drawing "to scale" why would you use the "Scale to Fit" option?  That makes no sense.

Are you printing from model space or from a layout?

Is there a title block and border?
