Hallo to every member of this forum.
I work in a company with lot of people who work in the same project.
Unfortunately they don't use xrefs!!! and you may understand how complicate can be a really simple project.
Their are anxious that they will miss small changes to an updated xref file.
Is there a simply way to "spot" (maybe with a circle or with a color change) exactly the changes to an updated xref file?
We use Autocad 2017

Thank you in advance

Isn't that what revision blocks and revclouds are for?

Wasn't there an app called Drawing Compare available at one time?

Thank you for your quick reply.
I didn't know the existence of these!

Revision cloud and revision table is a "very manual" method and "drawing compare" cannot be used in xrefs...
So, I was thinking something like every time that an xref is being updated, every element that is different from the previous version to show in color like "drawing compare" does.
As we know, every time that an xref file is being saved a notification appears in the bottom right of the autocad window but when you reload the file you don't know what exactly has been changed!

Well good luck developing that app.  Let us know when you are finished.
