I been learning about dynamic blocks recently and created a few but I am stuck on one that I thought would be simple.

I want to create a block just like the handrail line type but it starts and ends wit ha post and the posts are exactly 6' apart.

so works like this:

O-----O

O---------O

O-----------O

O-----------O---O

O-----------O------O

O-----------O-----------O-----------O

no matter how long the line it ends with a post "O" and it puts a post every 6'.

Any link to a tutorial that creates something similar would be perfect.
