For some reason I am having great difficulty converting some DWG files I have into Monochrome PDF's. Obviously converting them to a PDF is simple enough, however, my printer is monochrome so it will not pick up the colors at all. If anyone could offer any insight it would be greatly appreciated. Please send help tips to mailto:p-houghton@live.com - p-houghton@live.com .

We set all our pen colours to black...

If you select plot (ACAD 2005), it should be top right "plot style table / pen assignments" edit one (we called ours bw, for blackandwhite) and set them all to black.  Our drawings, themselves have lots of colour on them, but the actual print outs are all in black and white, apart from a special drawing that we create which also has red on it..

Ah, 2007 switched things around...

This should explain things for you... (from a quick Google)

" file:///C:%5CDOCUME%7E1%5CEPS%5CLOCALS%7E1%5CTemp%5Cmsohtmlclip1%5C01%5Cclip_colorschememapping.xml -
In 2007, under the 'Plot' dialog box, you should have this circular icon w/ greater than symbol inside (located bottom right or right beside the Help button), click on this icon & it should expand the dialog box for you leaving you more options. Notice on the top right should be your Plot Style Table. Fly out your options to create new pen assignments or click on the Pen icon to edit/customize using the Plot Style Table Editor. Hope this helps, let me know!

Additionally, you can also access various items under 'Options' command & select 'Plot and Publish' tab. Here you'll find 'Plot Style Table Settings' button & you can select your default plot style table. Furthermore, you can click on 'Add or Edit Plot Style Tables..' button to take you to the repository
folder for the ctb/stb files & copy/edit the files.
