Hi I am using Autcad 19 LT. when doing a hatching in a new drawing. an error comes up and the software shuts down and you can only open the drawing from the recovery manager. Has anyone come across this problem?

Is there an error message?  If so, what does it say? 
What hatch pattern is being used?
What is the source of the drawing?
Does the same thing happen if you start a new drawing and use the same hatch pattern to hatch an area?
