When a number of objects are selected in preparation for trimming, stretching or extending, and then I pan or zoom so some of those objects are off screen - the objects that are no longer in view are not included in the operation.

Is there a setting that allows you to select the objects and then zoom in etc. without them being deselected because they are no longer in sight?

Many thanks,

Ue this way to trim and zoom.

command:trim (enter)
select objects:'zoom (enter)   ( then use one of options of  zoom command.)
