Hello All
I'm new to this forum and my question is regarding blocks.
Are there any 2d blocks compatible with Autocad 2002?
Thanks in advance
Roger

There should be loads of them.  I don't think Dynamic Blocks existed back then, but if you download other kinds coming from newer versions, you should be able to convert them back using DWG TrueView [free download from https://www.autodesk.com/products/dwg/viewers ], though to go that far back may [I forget where the cut-off is] require going through DXF format, rather than directly into that version's DWG format.

Hey Kent
Thank you for the response!
I'm just looking for 2D blocks, Is there a defined section for the older blocks?
How do you know which ones are 2002 compatible, before downloading?
Thanks Roger

Hello Percassos, the version of the files are written under the tittle.
In case of a problem, you shouls ask a friend or a colleague with a more recent AutoCAD to do a "save as" + choose of the version for you.

Or download and use DWG Trueview.  It's free and available at the AutoDesk website.  It can be used to open and view AutoCAD drawings created in any version of the program and you can save the drawing in a previous file format that matches the version of AutoCAD you are currently using.
