Does anyone know a file convertor that can change Visionael files to DWG? the software has been lost and original computer damaged. My autocad software will not open these files.

What is Visionael and who developed it? I have found no references to any such program.

I don't have alot of information on it. It's a cad software similar to autodesk but the company that made it decided to do away with it and go down networks etc.
I believe now the company is no longer.
The files created with Visionael are in DWG format. Although the name is the same, this format is not the same as AutoCAD. Saved files therefore have the extension dwg ; between two backups, restoration information is generated and saved in a file with the same name but with a large extension (DWG), in order to limit losses in the event of an application crash.
With the relevant modules, Visionael is also able to export files in HPGL and DXF formats

Unless you can find someone, who could open the files and maybe save them to .dxf file format (if possible using that program) I think you are out of luck.
