I created a model state to show an assembly instruction step (Instructions Page 1). The changes made to Instructions Page 1 affect Master and vice versa. I have used Model States many times before and this is a new problem. Recreating the assembly is not really feasible, so I hope I can undo whatever caused this.

I can't share the CAD or screenshots due to trade secrecy.

I have tried:

Check that Edit Member Scope is activated.

Restart PC.

Restart Inventor after killing all AutoDesk processes.

Copy the assembly into a new assembly, promote it, then recreate the model state.

Has anyone encountered this before?
