I am running Lt and need to know if there is any way I can get a block count to run.......my guess is Lt will not let this occur Angry , nor will it run lisp routines Cry , unless someone has figured out a way around it.  Let me know if you have any ideas.
Thanks in advance!

You can use command [CMD]QSELECT[/CMD], there in the dialogue choose Block reference and type or select (depend on version of cad) a name of block (beware of case sensitivity), and it will select them in the drawing or in the selection, if you have, and write a count at commandline or in properties dialogue.

You can also use [CMD]ATTEXT[/CMD] to extract the block information to a text file.

Alternatively, you can simply run the "Report blocks" function from the add-on application http://www.xanadu.cz/en/apps/ltextension/ - Xanadu LT Extension .
