I'm trying to ask a question so I'm asking here. In a particular drawing I'm working on when I copy viewports no model space equipment is viewable and I can't click into it? If a viewport does happen to copy it disappears when I copy a new one? Any ideas, please?

Prum,

Probably not the best place to post a question. I'd suggest the discussions section in the future. Just create a new post.

To answer your question, when you copy and paste a viewport you need to turn it on before you can use it.

1. Type MV enter,
2. Type on enter,
3. Select the viewport

The viewport will then activate with the same view as the originally copied viewport with all the normal funtionality. If the viewport won't copy it's probably on the defpoints layer with layer 0 turned off or frozen. If it is on the defpoints layer confirm that layer 0 is turned on. It sounds odd but it the way it works.

Cheers,
Mike
