If someone is using Autocad and I am using AutoCad LT can they save their files so that I can open and edit them?

I use AutoCAD 2008. When saving a file at the bottom of the save box there is Files of Type. Click on that and there are 3 options for LT. LT 2004, Lt 2000, and Lt 98. So, yes you can save as an LT file.
Hope that helps.

as told you can save in lt version but usually you dont need to do it, you just have to save in the same reading format for example if you want to open in 2004 a file created or saved in 2008 you have to save as 2004 autocad file Wink

AutoCAD and AutoCAD LT share the same DWG format. They are 100% compatible.
