Hi folks. First time posting, so forgive me if this has been discussed previously.  I am an amature at working with AutoCAD. Mainly, I make pretty simple changes to existing floorplans - move a wall here, add data/telephone drop there, etc.

However, I have one drawing that uses multipule xrefs.  I have a need to "consolidate" those external references into the single drawing - so when I need to email the file to someone, I dont have to include 2 or 3 additional files.

So - My question - is there a quick way to import the layers and info from the xref drawings into the primary file?

Any advise appritiated. Thanks!

you can bind the xrefs. You can do that thru the x-ref manager

You have two options to do:
- the first is to use command [CMD]ETRANSMIT[/CMD], that pack all needed files into one, that you sent via email
- the second is to bind your exref(s), so it becames a block. You have two possibilities how to do it - either bind or insert, see more informations in help.
