Hi Guys,
could someone tell me how to add +/- tolerances to a linear dimension in autocad 2009?

Hey stjohn,

If you want all your dimensions to have tolerances go into the dimension style and click edit. Pick the tolerances tab, under method at the top change it to Symmetrical.

If you want to change 1 or more existing dimensions, click on the dimension, then go to the properties pallet, scroll down to Tolerances near the bottom and change the selected dimensions to Symmetrical.
