I need to insert a new font in Autocad. I have a font named TRAJAN PRO.shx and I would like to know if anyone can help me how can I manage to insert this file in Autocad. Should i simply paste the file in the font folder(this hasn't worked for me) or is there any other procedure??

thx in advance

You need to load the font into your font folder within windows. you can then set up a text style within autoCAD.

If you need to know how to do this email me and I will go through it with you.

to insert a font within windows copy the font into the following folder:

C:\WINDOWS\Fonts

You need to copy the file at two locations

1. c:\\windows\fonts

On font path of Autocad

2. c:\\program files\Autocad ...\Fonts

Restart the drawing

This should work
